Shipping Options

We offer courier and palletised shipping options depending on the size, weight and sensitivity of the equipment. Smaller items are generally shipped by standard courier, while larger or heavier laboratory equipment may be securely palletised and shipped using an appropriate freight service.

Standard Shipping

Standard orders are normally dispatched within 5–7 business days. We aim to dispatch orders sooner wherever possible. Delivery times following dispatch will vary depending on the service and destination.

Freight Shipping

Palletised orders are normally dispatched within 7–10 business days. We aim to dispatch orders sooner wherever possible. Delivery times following dispatch will vary depending on the freight service and destination.

Returns & Refunds Policy

JER Scientific supplies pre-owned scientific and laboratory equipment. The condition and level of testing performed are stated in each individual product listing.

30-Day Returns

Returns may be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.

Please contact us before returning an item and provide your order details and reason for the return.

If an item does not match the condition or functionality described in the listing, please contact us so we can arrange an appropriate resolution.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns must be returned complete and in the condition supplied.

Customers are responsible for return postage where permitted by law. Business change-of-mind returns may be subject to a 20 percent restocking charge.

Returned Equipment

All components and accessories originally supplied with the equipment must be returned.

Equipment must not have parts removed or substituted and must not be deliberately modified, dismantled or damaged.

We may record serial numbers, identifying marks, accessories and the condition of equipment before dispatch. Returned equipment may be checked against these records.

Where permitted by law, deductions may be made from a refund where the returned equipment has been damaged, modified, excessively handled or returned incomplete and this has reduced its value.

Contaminated Equipment

Please contact us before returning equipment that has been exposed to potentially hazardous biological, chemical or radioactive materials.

Equipment presenting an undisclosed health or safety risk must not be returned.

Return Shipping

Returned equipment must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transport. Original packaging should be reused where practical.

Parts, Repair & Untested Equipment

Equipment advertised as “For Parts or Repair,” “Faulty,” “Untested” or similar is sold according to the condition and testing information stated in its listing.

Refunds

Once a return has been received and inspected, any refund due will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
